China Flower Direct arranges fresh flower and gift delivery through same-city fulfillment across China. Because flowers are perishable and every arrangement is prepared specifically for your recipient, our delivery and return policies differ from standard e-commerce goods.
This page explains how delivery timing, substitutions, cancellations, and quality issues are handled.
Where We Deliver
We arrange delivery to 3,000+ cities, counties, and larger towns across Mainland China, including many smaller destinations beyond the major metropolitan areas.
- Mainland China: Same-day delivery is available in most cities, subject to order time, address confirmation, local florist capacity, and local conditions.
- Remote areas: For very remote or rural locations, an additional delivery fee may apply. We will contact you before proceeding if this is the case.
- Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan: Please contact us before ordering to confirm availability for your specific destination.
Delivery Timing
Unless otherwise stated, all delivery dates and preferred time windows refer to local time in Mainland China (Beijing time, UTC+8).
- Same-day delivery: Available for many orders, subject to order time, address confirmation, local florist capacity, and local conditions. Urgent late-day requests may still be possible in larger cities; contact us and we’ll check before proceeding.
- Delivery speed: In many major urban areas, urgent orders can arrive in about 3 hours. This is not guaranteed for every address, product type, late-night order, remote area, or holiday period.
- Scheduled delivery: You may place orders up to 30 days in advance and select any future delivery date. Recommended for birthdays, anniversaries, and major holidays.
- Time-of-day requests: You may request a preferred time window (e.g. morning or afternoon). We will pass this to the local team, but exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to traffic, weather, and routing.
- Peak seasons: During major holidays (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Qixi Festival, Chinese New Year, etc.), we recommend placing orders at least 2–3 days in advance.
Product Substitution Policy
Flowers are seasonal, natural products and each arrangement is handmade. We aim to match the displayed style, colour, size, and overall value as closely as possible.
- If a specific flower variety, colour, or gift item is unavailable in the delivery city on the day, we will substitute with something of equal or greater value that maintains the same overall style and feel.
- For substitutions that materially change the design or gift type, we will attempt to contact you before proceeding.
- Product photos are references for style and presentation. Natural variation in flowers and handmade arrangements is to be expected.
Cancellations & Refunds
Because flowers are sourced and prepared for a specific recipient and date, cancellation options depend on how far in advance you contact us.
- 3 or more days before delivery: Full refund available.
- 1–2 days before delivery: A cancellation fee may apply for orders cancelled within 1–2 days of the scheduled delivery date.
- On the delivery day / less than 24 hours: Orders cannot normally be cancelled once flowers have been sourced, prepared, or dispatched.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. We are not responsible for currency conversion differences or fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
Quality Issues & Complaints
If your flowers arrive damaged or materially different from what was confirmed, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery:
- Email us at [email protected] with your order number and clear photos of the flowers as received.
We will review the situation and follow up with an appropriate resolution, which may include redelivery, replacement, partial refund, or full refund depending on the circumstances.
Delivery Exceptions
China Flower Direct is not liable for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from:
- Incorrect or incomplete recipient address or phone number provided at checkout.
- Recipient being unavailable or refusing delivery.
- Access restrictions at the delivery location (e.g. gated compounds, hospitals, hotels, office buildings).
- Weather, traffic, road closures, holiday congestion, or other events outside our reasonable control.
